What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate position at Staffmark?

Staffmark is currently hiring Production Associates for our new premier client in Columbia, SC. The Production Associate will assist the Lawn & Garden department.

1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday
2nd shift: 3:30pm - 12 midnight Monday through Friday

Daily Job Duties

As the Production Associate, your day to day tasks may include:

  • Assembling & packaging product
  • Responsible for packaging, labeling & Palletizing product for production
  • Responsible for completion of Hour-by-Hour boards, product returns, Finished good pallet removal

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly
  • Ability to operate a manual & electric pallet jack
  • Must be able to read information & numbers, perform basic mathematical calculations & write legibly.
