- Rivet component parts to company specifications and customer expectations in a manner consistent with the company's quality and productivity standards. • Ability to select and identify the proper materials, including rivet selection, needed to assemble components. • Sets up and operates riveting press. • Inspects all parts for proper assembly and cosmetic defects. Tags any non-conforming parts with re-work labels and places in re-work bin • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and within standard times. • Maintains a clean workstation and cleans-up production areas as required • Demonstrate a positive attitude, along with a willingness to do what needs to be done (without taking shortcuts), to move to other lines and departments to fill company needs, and to learn and improve own skills. • Follows all safety guidelines and wears all Personal Protective Equipment. • Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned by Group Leader or any other member of the leadership team • All of these objectives must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner while maintaining an acceptable level of quality and efficiency
