Job Posting for Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Staffmark

Staffmark is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to work in Muncie, IN. A local, family-owned business has partnered with us to grow its team.

We seek a motivated individual ready to work in a fast-paced team environment. Previous experience is not a vital component of this job, although it is preferred, as we will train the best candidate for the position.

Monday - Friday 1st Shift 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay Range $15 - $16 per hour (Depending on experience)

Essential job tasks include :

  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stand-up order pickers, and hand trucks
  • Use computers and other hand-held devices
  • Verify orders to the shipping quantities
  • Assemble packaging materials
  • Monitor the supply of packaging materials
  • Prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight
  • Confirm that drivers have the appropriate paperwork
  • Use team lift to lift 50 - 75 pounds
