What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Crib position at Staffmark?
Work Saturday 8am to 8pm and Sunday 8am to 8pm
Will train couple days through the week 8am to5pm
$11.50 hour TTH
Will be maintaining counts of inventoried car parts. Will require walking out on production floor and checking binned inventory and recording data. Repetitive use of fingers and wrists due to typing, also may be lifting up to 25lbs., bending, and squatting. You will enter in a daily basis the tooling issues into the computer system. You will issue tooling as required to plant personnel. Maintain tooling tugger routes as specified by group leaders. Unpacks and places new tooling in proper areas. Verifies new tooling with received orders and maintains tooling inventory. Sets up masters and assigns tool locations within the tool crib. Makes decisions regarding whether or not materials will be used or scraped. Maintain 5-S Level 4 or better in Tool Crib. Keeps tooling in safe working condition.
Computer literate- Basic knowledge of tooling and inventory control helpful. Ability to stand 75% of shift. Ability to lift up to 75lbs occasionally
