We are looking for hard-working and eager individuals to join our client’s team of Machine Operators located in Lawrence, PA. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are looking to start or further their career in production and manufacturing with an employer that cares.

Job Description

• Safely operate production runs on machine shop tooling, including, but not limited, milling machines, lathe, horizontal band saw, punch press, shear, lathe, hydraulic press, bench grinders and sanders, drill press.
• Verify conformance of work using precision measuring instruments (example\: calipers)
• Adhere to all company policies, guidelines and practices including the SECRIT values Additional Duties
• May perform basic fixture set-ups
• Other duties as assigned by management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and sketches
• Basic knowledge of machinability of materials (metal/non-metal)
• Proficiency in shop mathematics
• Ability to follow direction from production supervision
• Ability to effectively verbally communicate with team members

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas where, in certain areas, the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and mandatory hearing protection are required.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs occasionally; ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs often.
• The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
• The ability to quickly move hand, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• The ability to keep hand and arm steady while moving arm or while holding arm and hand in one position.
• The ability to see details at a close range and have the ability to tell the difference in the colors of wires.

Requirements:

• H.S Diploma or G.E.D
• Must be able to clear a 7 year more lenient background check
• Must be able to clear a 10-panel mouth swab drug screening.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Hours:

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Pay: 15.50/hr for 1st
