Quality Control Technician
Position Summary:
The Quality Technician is responsible for evaluating, documenting and dispositioning the conformity of materials and products being supplied to company manufacturing through FAI and PPAPs.

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, (Monday – Friday)
Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 DOE

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Following and establishing measurement procedures to obtain data for the evaluation of part conformity
- Evaluating the conformity of purchased parts to PPC specifications.
- Performing statistical analysis on critical dimensions of parts.
- Determining the disposition of parts based on their conformity to requirements.
- Documenting and the FAI/PPAP process, ensuring approvals are obtained and reviewing any delays.
- Support quality compliance and LEAN efforts
- Additional responsibilities include working in conjunction with quality engineers and auditors to develop and improve processes, training peers in measurement techniques and developing measurement programming as available.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Skills: Microsoft Office Suite and SAP is preferred.
- Skills: Blueprint reading preferred. Ability to utilize precision hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gages, bore micrometers, etc.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to follow and execute detailed processes/directions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a culturally diverse workplace.
- Be able to work in a loud manufacturing environment subject to fluctuations in temperature.
- Education:
- High School diploma or GED
