Job Overview

Designer A Designer at 10 Thousand Design is responsible for creating and executing effective, innovative ideas for our clients, across all mediums. This includes ideation, concepts and layout design for all integrated brand identity elements including digital and interactive environments.  A Designer at 10 Thousand Design must thrive in an energetic environment with like-minded peers, and excel at building relationships across departments and with clients. 

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and collaborate with strategists, copywriters, art directors, designers, UX designers and creative technologists 
• Assist with monitoring all assigned projects and follow through on all phases of production
• Present work to internal teams and clients
• Push past good ideas in order to discover great ones
• Possess a solid foundation of design and typographic skills, applicable to an indie band poster or a corporate annual report
• Present ideas clearly and with conviction in order to sell them through internally and externally 

Required Skills

• Possess a solid foundation of graphic and interactive design and typographic skills
• Understanding of printing process, photography, illustration, typography, social and interactive
• Competency in the Adobe Creative Suite of applications,  Sketch and Figma,
• Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Possess a variety of design skills 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or ad school credentials or equivalent industry experience 
• Two or more years of agency or relevant experience
• Exceptional portfolio with demonstrated versatility across all media
• Ability to travel as needed
