Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

MISSION

The mission for this position is to prioritize, oversee and perform construction projects on offices and production plants in addition to maintenance and repairs on office, production, and storage buildings. If you are passionate about executing repairs and construction with excellence and have experience in everything from laying concrete to framing to HVAC to minor facility repairs, this is the role for you!

Family owned since 1985, Stahlbush Island Farms is an environmentally friendly farm and food processor in Corvallis, Oregon. We grow high quality foods using innovative farming practices. We even make our own electricity! Our biogas plant, the first of its kind in the U.S., converts all of our agricultural waste into electricity, generating twice the amount that we need to run the farm. OUTCOMES

• Organize, prioritize and execute and/or oversee all facility maintenance needs on multiple venues
• Oversee a team or work independently on all facilities upkeep and construction
• Perform maintenance in areas such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors
• Perform maintenance on site systems such as, HVAC, well water, and septic/waste water
• Lead other team members and outside contractors from initiation to completion of projects
• Use excavation and heavy equipment when required
• Lay concrete when needed
• Weld and fabricate as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years' experience in the construction industry
• Basic carpentry skills
• Basic plumbing skills
• General contracting experience
• Pole and steel building erection, framing
• Metal siding and roofing
• Able to use basic construction tools (i.e. skill saw, etc)
• Valid driver's license, along with reliable transportation
• Forklift certified or able to obtain certification
• Must have basic hand tools to use on jobsite
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry for 50 feet is required
