Cremation Specialist

Staker Animal Cremations is a family-owned business that strives for quality service while providing local pet owners with animal cremation services in Eastern Idaho. We are a fully functional crematorium that is committed to providing professional and respectful services.

Job Responsibilities

· Cremating animals

· Processing and packaging ashes

· Meeting with Private Clients dropping off their recently deceased pet

· Meeting with Private Clients when their remains are ready for pickup

Skill Requirements:

· MUST be organized, hard worker, excellent customer service skills.

· Should be able to lift at least 120 lbs. (Some of the animals we receive are very heavy and you need to be able to lift them)

· Communication skills

· Professional

· Problem solving skills

· Ability to empathize with those who have just lost a pet

· Attention to detail

· Honesty and Integrity

· Team player

· Self-starter

Preferred:

· Ability to pull a trailer and back it up

· Handyman type work. (fixing things that break, etc)

· Clean driving record

· 1 year commitment minimum

*Would like to begin training July 3rd. After the training period, this position receives very little supervision. We are looking for an employee that is a self-starter, works well on his/her own, has excellent attention to detail, and also is a team player (as you will work with 1-2 other people a few times a week).

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time could be considered for the right applicant.

3 days a week- Your choice of any of these shifts: (some flexibility is possible)

Saturdays- 9:00 – 5:00

Mondays- 1:00-8:00 pm

Tuesday- 1:00-8:00 pm

Thursdays – 11:00- 6:00 pm

Fridays- 11:00-5:00 pm

Pay: $13.00-$15.00 per hour depending on applicant’s experience.
