BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE: Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Customer Service & Materials Manager and is responsible for helping with local deliveries and other site operations that need assistance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifest, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy. Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory. Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route materials. Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter. Record shipment data such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes. Enter Requisites and Purchase Orders. Receiving Receive items in software system Identify parts Allocate parts to appropriate jobs and tag the material Shipping Prepare completed pumps for delivery including all required paperwork All other duties as assigned by shop or operations management. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/GED and/or Equivalent work experience 2 Years shipping & receiving experience 1 Year(s) in a manufacturing or shop environment Microsoft Office proficient (especially Excel) Excellent organization skills Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills Planning skills and must be detail oriented Mechanical aptitude KSB Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
