Position Overview
Under the direction of the Lee Engineering Operations Supervisor, the Business Coordinator will be responsible for handling the day-to-day activities that ensure smooth, efficient business processes and functions. The role requires excellent time management skills, good communication abilities and the capability to take on a variety of tasks.
Functions
Responsible for regulatory compliance audits (MOSA/SGS)
Organize & file records for regulatory compliance (production run logs/ PM’s/ routine inspection/ CoA’s etc.)
Responsible for Customer Relations including: handle customer inquiries, input orders (phone, engineeringbylee.com, organicsbylee.com, Amazon, Ebay and PO’s) complaints and invoices
Plan production needs around customer orders and projected sales
Manage inventory and ensure accuracy with QuickBooks by generating and reconciling a weekly inventory report
Complete and submit all necessary documentation from suppliers
Oversee the billing process and corresponding paperwork
Coordinate product orders for shipment
Request freight quotes, prepare BOL, and schedule pick-ups
Create shipping labels and international shipment documents (as necessary)
Buyer responsibilities include: procure raw materials, shop, office supplies and shipping and packaging materials. This includes identifying and ordering the proper quantity, negotiating pricing and shipment terms.
Oversee the timely delivery of materials to meet business needs
Physically receive and distribute packages coming in through the office to the proper teammate
Process returns
Push Sales through Connex to QuickBooks
Customer follow-up on orders
Manage Lee Inbox and direct emails to the appropriate teammate
Develop customer lists and surveys
Data research input, and report creation
Complete and submit all necessary documentation from customers including credit checks
Assist accounting in various areas including invoices Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, monthly journal entries and reconciliation of sales
Assist in other areas of the business including Marketing/Sales, production and SP as needed
Follow and maintain accurate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for efficient business operations
Qualifications
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Associates degree in a Business or related field preferred
Certifications/Licenses:
N/A
Experience:
2 years of experience in a manufacturing/food processing environment
Experience using inventory management software
Experience in customer-facing position
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of Warehousing practices
Comprehension of Blueprints and assembly procedures
