IT PROJECT MANAGER / BUSINESS ANALYST
Under the direction of the IT Project Portfolio Manager, the IT Project Manager/Business Analyst is responsible for working with both the Business and IT teams to design and develop IT systems solutions to meet business needs. This includes managing projects, eliciting business requirements, creating functional specifications, user stories and other items, publishing progress reports and facilitating meetings.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Elicit scope and requirements using interviews, documenting analysis, use cases, user stories, tasks and workflow analysis.
- Collaborate with teams and departments to develop scope and drive projects forward
- Review Problems and Incidents to evaluate effort, priority and impacts
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; study system capabilities; write specifications for projects. May also develop the work breakdown structure for a project
- Adjust project schedules and targets as needed
- Track project costs, identify and mitigate risks
- Ensure assigned projects are coordinated to achieve high-level project initiatives; align priorities and expectations
- Evaluate software against business requirements.
- Facilitate integration of solutions for approved emerging technologies
- Evaluate and document improvements for existing project methods/processes
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
- Work as part of the IT PMO team to create new documentation or to diagram solutions
- Assist with User Acceptance Testing
Education/Certifications
- Education in IT, Project Management or similar or equivalent experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
WHAT YOU’VE DONE:
- You have at least five years of project management and business analysis experience with proven success
- Success developing, driving, and implementing IT projects and working with an IT PMO
- Successful implementation of IT project initiatives
- Experience with task tracking tools such as Jira and Dev Ops
- Sound understanding of software development methodologies
- Proven experience working in a results-driven, diverse environment
- Proficient in MS Office, Project and Visio

WHEN YOU WILL DO IT:
- 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, or as job responsibilities require
- This is a hybrid role that will allow part of the week to be worked off site and part on site
