What You'll Do
As a Fleet Specialist, you'll be part of our Mac Tool team working as a flex employee.

You'll get to:

Support the onboarding process of a new candidate's tool truck selection and the development of the truck program. This position is responsible for nurturing and improving relationships with outside vendors in relation with the truck process. This role will work closely with the Franchise Development team to execute and improve the processes for placing new Franchisees in tool trucks. In addition, this role supports existing franchisees for truck replacement.
  • Partner with Franchise Candidates, their District Manager, Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist to ensure those candidates have committed fully to a compliant truck purchase
  • Facilitate proper documentation from the truck seller, inspection and finance companies to ensure a smooth registration process
  • Request and maintain all truck seller packet information required for new truck purchases
  • Partner and manage Truck Graphics vendors to ensure brand standards
  • Accurately document truck purchase data to inform Tool Truck fair market value decisions.
  • Partner with Stanley Black & Decker finance and Wells Fargo to ensure ongoing and monthly reporting rhythms for the UNL reconciliation.
  • Partner with Mac Tools IT to continuously improve Franchise Truck Tracker and associated objects within Salesforce.
  • Valuation on trucks from exiting distributors to help remarket to new candidates or current franchisees
  • Coordinate loading of inventory with Mac Tools Distribution Center and final vehicle dispatch to field.
  • Present truck information during Tool School
  • Continuously consult with Mac Tools Leadership to recommend overall Franchise Fleet trends and decisions.
  • Exposed to various work environments, working in an office environment, on tools trucks doing walk through and working in an office environment,
  • Must be able to communicate via telephone, as this position frequently communicates with distributors and vendors and must be able to exchange accurate information, as well as strong written communication skills.
  • Willingness to Travel Up To 25%
  • Locally based in Columbus and willingness to work in person at Mac Tools HQ up to 50%
