GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Director of Administrative & Facility Services, supervise college housekeeping staff. Perform a variety of routine cleaning functions and training.
Must have a valid NC Driver’s License.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required :
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 5 years progressive experience with environmental services
Preferred :
- Associate degree
- 10 years progressive experience with environmental services supervision
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crouch.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Possession of a valid NC driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible schedule for college events and times of inclement weather.
OTHER DUTIES
- Supervise college environmental services staff and duties.
- Train college environmental services staff on best practices and product use safety.
- Maintain accurate material safety data sheets and pertinent records.
- Ensure the attached scope of work is regularly performed by all groups.
- Evaluate and monitor college environmental processes and procedures.
- Responsible for cleaning and supplying inventory and orders.
- Assign college staff to daily porter and cleaning duties.
- Serve on various college committees as required or assigned.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
