Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Intern Program Lead! As part of the Talent Acquisition team, focused on early in career recruitment, you will lead our collaborative and results-driven efforts to further intern programming at Stantec. Focused on the intern experience, you will design, coordinate, and execute end to end intern programming, starting from the time our students sign their offers through their entire internship.
Your Key Responsibilities
Intern Programming
- Work with business leaders and stakeholders to transform their vision into a realistic program that consistently develops early-in-career talent, leading to less turnover and higher employee engagement.
- Partner with HR and business leadership on intern forecasting and talent-sharing.
- Design, coordinate, and execute end to end intern programming for various Business Lines.
- Drive program timelines, content creation, student engagement and communication strategy.
- Lead projects for Internship Programming, including intern check-ins and performance evaluation.
- Work with HR Client Services to drive the process of converting our interns into full-time employees.
- Capture results, lessons learned and opportunities for further program improvements and enhancements.
- Partner with marketing on campus programming branding opportunities.
- Identify, analyze, and report on key program metrics.
- Be an enthusiastic advocate for students and early career talent at Stantec.
- Provide support and coordinate university event management as needed.
Recruitment
- Support the full life-cycle talent acquisition process for undergraduate campus recruitment for internships/co-ops and early in career positions.
- Initiate job postings on both internal and external sites and implement the processes to attract and recruit the very best talent to Stantec. This includes reviewing resumes, screening, and shortlisting through to offer acceptance.
- Keep clients (hiring managers, HR business partners or colleagues) updated on progress through the campus recruiting life cycle.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across HR Talent and Client Services to deliver an effective candidate to employee experience.
- Be an enthusiastic advocate for students and early career talent at Stantec.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- A strong understanding of campus processes, administration, and schedules across North America.
- Exceptionally strong organizational and project management skills.
- Communicates with multiple stakeholders and comfortable with presenting to senior leaders.
- Demonstrates initiative and business focus.
- Capable of listening to business challenges and translating those into appropriate programming solutions for the business.
- Ability to partner successfully with all levels in the organization.
- Experience and capability to influence and collaboration in a matrixed organization.
- Ability to organize large virtual and in-person events.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with a sense of urgency to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with Taleo and Yello, or similar ATS and CRM solutions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
- University or college degree in human resources, business or related field required.
- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in campus recruitment and programming.
- Experience designing, coordinating, and executing intern programming (at any scale) with demonstrated results required.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):
Salary Range(s):
- $88,000.00 - $127,600.00 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
