What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Provider- Toddler Room (18months-36 months) position at Stanton Child Resource Center?
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area
- Monitor children's behavior and address any disciplinary issues
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and daily activities
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or caregiving
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR preferred
- Ability to educate and engage children through creative activities
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Understanding of infant care, toddler care, and preschool-age development
- Ability to work in a daycare setting with multiple children
