As a Certified Tech, you will be an in-store expert on Tech Services programs, promotions, and technical knowledge as you provide exceptional customer service and drive sales. Play an active role in helping your store, your people and your customer win.
- Act as the in-store expert on Tech Services programs, promotions, and technical knowledge
- Build relationships with Selling Solutions team to create synergies
- Stay current on new technologies, products, and services
- Perform in-store and on-site installations, services and repairs as needed
- Partner with Tech Services Operations Center team to ensure all remote repairs, installations and services are done on time and to company standards
- Engage and consult with customers to understand their needs and present solutions
- Monitor queues and provide status update to customers
- Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (i.e. cashier, merchandising)
Essential skills and experience:
- Able to work a flexible schedule (including nights and weekends)
- Ability to perform PC installations, services, and repairs
- Must be able to achieve Staples Tech Certification within company specified timeframes
- Customer service experience demonstrating the ability to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs
- Collaborate and work with other team members
- Ability to lift/move materials in the 10-50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously

Preferred skills and experience:
- 1 to 2 years of technical systems diagnostics, repair and installation experience
