Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Staff

Job Summary: As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair work at our properties, ensuring the safety and comfort of our tenants. You will work collaboratively with the property management team and be responsible for completing work orders, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and providing exceptional customer service to tenants. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Complete work orders and perform routine maintenance and repair work, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry insure all work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards, following safety guidelines and all applicable building codes, conduct preventive maintenance on all property systems and equipment. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including time spent, materials used, and work performed. Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve any maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner. Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment, including maintenance and storage areas. Maintain knowledge of all property systems and equipment, including maintenance schedules and warranties. Assist with on-call duties and emergency response as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of experience in a maintenance-related field, preferably in property management or a related industry. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems and equipment. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficient in basic computer skills, including email and property management software. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Your attention to detail, technical knowledge, and commitment to customer service will be integral in maintaining positive tenant relationships and ensuring the overall success of our property management team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
