Overview:

Star of The North Academy seeks a dynamic and dedicated Site Director for our Coon Rapids campus. The Campus Director will play a crucial role in fostering an environment of academic excellence and operational efficiency. This position requires a proactive leader who is passionate about educational leadership and committed to promoting high academic standards and a nurturing environment for both students and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Academic Leadership and Excellence: Drive initiatives that promote high academic achievements and continuous educational improvement. Monitor educational practices to ensure they meet state standards and school objectives.
• Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the campus, ensuring all processes are efficient and effective. Manage daily schedules, coordinate with vendors, and oversee the general upkeep of the campus.
• Strategic Implementation: Implement the strategic actions set by the leadership team, focusing on operational excellence and academic success.
• Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for parents and the community. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support educational goals and community involvement.
• Staff Development and Support: Manage and support campus staff, providing leadership, professional development, and necessary resources to promote a collaborative and effective educational environment.
• Student-Centric Environment: Ensure that all operations and interactions prioritize student well-being and learning outcomes, contributing to a holistic educational experience.
• Comprehensive Campus Management: Address all additional responsibilities and operational needs that arise in managing a charter school campus, ensuring that all aspects of campus life are conducive to a productive and supportive educational environment. This includes overseeing safety protocols, facilities management, extracurricular activities, and any other areas critical to the school's success and reputation.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in an educational setting, preferably in a charter school. Experience in managing school operations and leading academic programs is required.
• Skills:
• Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and complex situations.
• Proven track record of improving academic outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Additional Preferences: Bilingual and bicultural abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication and inclusivity within our diverse school community.
