What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interviewer, MWCCS position at STAR Program?
Duties: Obtain informed consent and administer study questionnaires. Assist clinicians with study exams and specimen collection. Process study specimens according to study protocols for local repository. Collect patient specimens and other study related data a per study protocol. Contact subjects to schedule appointments as per established procedures. Assist with verifying specimens and preparing periodic shipments of delivery by overnight mail to central laboratories. Stock study clinics supplies and assist with tracking of lab results. Attend project related meetings. Some evening work. Qualifications and Experience: REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in health, social services or science field. Minimum 1 year experience working with people in a health care or research setting. Excellent interpersonal skills. PREFERRED: Spanish speaking. Prior work experience in ambulatory care setting. Ability to perform vital signs, phlebotomy and experience with processing clinical specimens. Previous work with HIV/AIDS population. Proficiency in Word and Excel. Hours/Days of Week: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, 37.5 hours per week. Some evenings. Salary Range: $40,000.00 – $42,000.00. COVID-19 VACCINATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
