Responsibilities:
As Evening Counter Lead you will perform all of our regular team member responsibilities (provide excellent customer service, check-in clothing, sort and run loads, process laundry, etc.) and the following Counter Lead responsibilities:
- Scheduling, handling requests off and call-ins during the hours you are responsible for.
- Leading the evening team in great service, productivity, and having fun.
- Misc Administrative. This may include assisting with deposits, supplies, inventory and past dues.
Above all, the Evening Counter Lead is responsible for ensuring that the counter is always open during the designated times.
- Designated Times: Monday-Friday Noon - 8:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm.
- Usually, other team members help cover the schedule, but you need to be able to work any of the open hours.
- The Max hours per week in the worst-case scenario is 48 hours.
You have the full support of the Operating Manager. He handles the following so you don't have to worry about:
- Hiring.
- Disciplinary communication and termination.
- Significant customer problems.
Compensation works like this:
- Hourly rate: $16.00-$20.00
- Over 40 hours/week is time and a half.
- Up to $6,000 in bonuses/year. Bonuses are paid quarterly as follows: $1,500 if you do not require any assistance from the Operating Manager covering shifts that quarter. Bonus declines by $500 for each instance you require assistance covering a shift.
