Wedding retail environment needs part-time accounting clerk. Position is an assistant to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day reconciliation of accounts
- Update spreadsheets
- Submit payroll
- Calculate commissions
- Monitor all payments, credit transactions, bank deposits, and refunds, addressing any account discrepancies as soon as possible.
- General back office administrative tasks
Requirements
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Word and Excel
- Attention to detail
- At least 2 years of previous clerical or accounting experience.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information
- Tuesdays and Thursdays - flexible hours.
- Strong mathematics skill and analytical ability.
