Tasks can range from micro-architecture, RTL coding, verification, synthesis, DFT, timing closure, IP integration, and post silicon support. You may be given responsibilities outside of the normal design tasks to ensure project success.
Requirements for an ASIC Design Engineer:

ASIC design experience
-
5 years industry experience in micro-architecture, RTL coding, verification, synthesis, timing closure, post silicon debug and bring up, test pattern generation.

Knowledge of PCIe, USB design
-
Experience using System Verilog and have previous RTL designs.
Preferred Qualification for an ASIC Design Engineer:
-
Implementation experience in System Verilog verification
-
Familiarity Verilog for chip design and verification
-
Knowledge of ASIC flow from MAS to silicon
-
Experienced several complete ASIC design cycles (inception to production)
-
Experience with low power high-speed serial protocols design and methodologies
-
RTL design, verification, synthesis, timing, debugging.

Excellent communication skills
