Duties/Responsibilities
Analyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments.
Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs.
Reconciles cash accounts.
Reconciles project expenses for labor and materials.
Assists with inventory audits.
Assists with annual external audit.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Thorough understanding of acceptable accounting principles.
Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
Thorough understanding of project management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP/financial software.
Education and Experience
Four year university degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated work experience in a similar position.
Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010
