Job Posting for Staff Accountant at Stark Aerospace

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Analyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments.
  • Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs.
  • Reconciles cash accounts.
  • Reconciles project expenses for labor and materials.
  • Assists with inventory audits.
  • Assists with annual external audit.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Thorough understanding of acceptable accounting principles.
  • Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of project management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP/financial software.

Education and Experience

  • Four year university degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated work experience in a similar position.
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 U.S.C. § 6010
