Stark Caverns is now hiring Tour Guides for the 2022 season! We are looking for applicants who want to enjoy their days spending time in the beautiful underground caverns and providing guests with great memorable experiences.
Stark Caverns is the Top-Rated Cave at the Lake of the Ozarks and has been a tourist destination for over 70 years! With just under 400 acres, we offer cave tours, trail hiking, camping, scenic views, a large visitor center & gift shop, and so much more.
Stark Caverns offers employees a way to express their creativity in their work and the chance to learn & study cave ecosystems. Daily fun includes:
- Guide cave tours through Stark Caverns
- Interact with guests in the Visitor Center
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the Visitor Center and grounds
- Assist with special events held on-site like fairs, educational programs, parties, concerts, etc.
- Continuing your education by learning about geology, science, history, and more To succeed in this position, we are looking for applicants who have:
- Experience in hospitality, guiding, & theatre a plus! * Have an enthusiastic interest in nature, caves and conservation as a whole.
- Ability to speak audibly to the public and provide information to a wide audience
- Ability to hike 4 or more hilly miles a day in the 57-degree cave environment
- Ability to keep busy when not on tours with cleaning and various other tasks that may arise
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must pass alcohol and drug screening
- Must pass background check
- Must have weekend and holiday availability
- Must have reliable transportation

Job Type: Seasonal Part-time is available immediately with Full-time availability just around the corner. Day and evening shifts available.
We are open to working with many schedules and partner with other businesses around the lake.
Pay: Hourly with Tips & Commissions
