Stark & Stark is seeking an experienced litigation Paralegal to join our team. The position involves support for the Nursing Home Litigation attorneys in our Lawrenceville, NJ office. The ideal candidate is self-directed and detailed-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced litigation environment. Candidates should have experience with all phases of a personal injury and/or medical malpractice litigation practice.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities will include drafting pleadings and discovery responses.
  • Organizing medical records, and providing assistance with preparing matters for litigation and trial.
  • Correspondence and communication with defense counsel, clients, and others to carry out responsibilities of the position.

Qualifications

  • The individual should be well organized and able to see an assignment through to its end, when given proper direction.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Paralegal Certificate or Associate's Degree is required.
  • The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in Personal Injury, Nursing Home litigation or Medical Malpractice matters REQUIRED.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office is also REQUIRED.
