Digital Marketing Manager

Starlight is seeking a tech-savvy “Star” to join our team as Digital Marketing Manager! This will be a full-time, salaried position that will work year-round.

Starlight’s Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of Starlight’s digital marketing efforts. This includes developing an overall social media calendar, growing social media engagement, overseeing digital advertising initiatives, and creating social media campaigns and content that activates Starlight brand across various digital platforms.

Required Accountabilities & Deliverables:

• Lead digital marketing strategies and campaigns for all programming, performance series and related events, reporting on metrics, content and deadlines. Create engaging content with Starlight’s creative team and design content as needed.
• Lead development of a social media calendar in alignment with content marketing strategies that is inclusive of all of Starlight’s efforts, reporting on metrics, content and deadlines. Monitor and respond as needed to online reviews and comments.
• Manage digital marketing and social media advertising campaigns, vendors and contracts from planning to execution; monitor and evaluate campaigns to ensure they remain fresh and effective.
• Work with Starlight’s concert partner on concert announcements and communication via social media and digital advertising platforms.
• Lead development and deployment of customer surveys. Generate reports and provide data on results.
• Track emerging digital and social trends to develop new ways to drive traffic and increase engagement.
• Support the team on other duties as assigned including content creation, intern management, etc.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, confidence in proofreading and presentation abilities.
• Flexible, dependable, detail-oriented and self-starting, remain calm under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with social media platforms, online ticketing technology, and data analytics.
• Provide the highest level of support to all guests, team members, vendors and clients.

Preferred Education and/or Work Experience:

• F.A., B.A. or B.S. required, preferably in marketing, business or communications-related field.
• 3 years of experience in digital and social media advertising and marketing.
• Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Tessitura ticketing system a plus.

Other Working Conditions: This role is primarily administrative/desk-based with a traditional on-site M-F work week schedule and general alignment with Starlight’s office hours- with an expectation to attend night and weekend events as necessary and/or requested on an irregular/regular basis. Due to the nature of Starlight’s business, availability/communication may be required in cases of urgent or emergency matters during nights and weekends.
