What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sewer position at Starr Staffing LLC?
1st Shift and 2nd shift Available
- Thread sewing machine for operation and sew productions according to specifications
- Align Machines for proper stitch count
- Performs repairs for sewing defects and monitors products to verify quality of standards
- Knows quantity of work expected each day
- Ability to measure using a standard ruler and the ability to count
- Use stand tools such as snips, scissors, tweezers, needle threaders, etc.
- Change bobbins and needles, thread machines, etc.
- Setup and Operate machine to embroider name, initial, designs, etc.
- Able to read and comprehend work order to determine type and location of embroidery to make sure completed in timely manner
- Programming embroidery machine
- Turns setscrews to regulate machine
- Ability to stand and use hand/foot pedal framing work
- Notifies supervisors of any machine malfunctions or defects
