Your Contribution as the Site Controller
1. Support of Head of BU-Controlling
- Supports supervisor in various activities regarding detail annual planning, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and in conducting special tasks.
- Develops complete financial plan for assigned SBF's for the next fiscal year under consideration of value enhancement, earnings, and cash development of all assigned business fields.
- Coordinates with the Site Manager the medium-term planning and the yearly budget, ensures data consistency and reliability.
2. Monthly
- Analyzes the development of the business unit by preparing and commenting monthly results.
- When applicable, develops and implements corrective plans of action and monitors further development.
- Tracks relevant accruals to determine accuracy and adjust as needed, including initiating payments to 3rd parties.
- Conducts solid financial analysis for investments and acquisitions including challenging underlying critical assumptions.
3. Planning
- Checks incoming planning documents regarding completeness, analyzes them and supports in summarizing of detailed plans to master plan.
- Prepares annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets/forecasts based off latest inputs from Sales and Operations.
4. Reporting
- Monitors the timely submission of reports from the assigned SBF's to the business unit, follows up in due time in case of missing reports, verifies reports regarding completeness, conducts validity checks and clarifies discrepancies with the appropriate personnel. Reports monthly figures and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) as required for reporting.
- Supports BU/BS Controller with regular and special reports on an as needed basis.
5. Auditing/Tax
- Prepares and assists in all site internal and external audits. Ensures integrity of financial procedures through strict compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (international Financial & Reporting Standards) reporting requirements.
- Supports preparation of annual Tax questionnaires and Insurance valuations.
- Supports BU Controller with the coordination of the annual fixed asset audit, including preparation of necessary change documents as determined via the results of the audit.
6. Data Analysis
- Records the reported data.
- Prepares reports according to prescribed deadlines or special reports on an as needed basis for the organizational units.
- Conducts target-performance comparisons, gap analysis and special analysis.
- Prepares and files required Government surveys.
7. Year-end Closing
- Prepares analysis concerning the annual accounts of each site via numerical evaluation of the relevant data from the balance and profit and loss accounting.
- Prepare annual cost center rate updates for assigned production sites to be used for the future material costings.
8. General Administration
- Reviews and processes assigned workflows to ensure proper coding of all Purchasing and AP postings.
- Prepares documents and presentations for meetings, as needed.
9. Projects
- Manages projects for improvement of controlling activities and works with cross functional colleagues to support those improvements.
- Supports Corporate Finance team with Business Unit level projects, as needed.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
