About You

We are in search of a dynamic Marketing Manager to join our GTM team and contribute to the growth of our innovative talent and workforce development solution. As the first marketer, you will be closely collaborating with the Founders and the sales team to understand client needs and drive revenue through strategic thinking and a deep understanding of our unique first principles approach to problem-solving and client engagement. You're a storyteller, a data enthusiast, and a team player, eager to contribute to a culture of joy, access, meaning, and success. You are prepared to contribute individually and then help us build a first-class marketing team.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing holistic marketing strategies:  Build strategies and tactics that align with Startwise's mission, enhancing our partnerships with governments, companies, and individuals.
• Leading marketing campaigns: Spearhead the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and print channels, ensuring they resonate with our diverse audiences.
• Develop marketing collateral: Manage the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, including web content, one-pagers, product marketing, and digital and print materials. 
• Oversee social media strategy: Engage our community and build our brand awareness through compelling content and interaction.
• Conducting market research: Identify trends, understand customer needs, and uncover new opportunities for growth and innovation in skills training and job placement.
• Analyzing and reporting campaign performance: Use data to inform future strategies and continually optimize our marketing efforts for maximum impact.
• Crafting and refining Startwise's brand: Build brand voice and messaging to ensure consistency and authenticity across all communication channels and touchpoints.

Our Marketing Stack

We currently use Hubspot and will look to you to help us build the right tools for the job. We’re building the playbook as we speak, so expect to have a lot of uncertainty as we collectively figure out all things marketing. In this role, you will need to roll up your sleeves and help us go to market.

• Versatile Vision Keeper: You can wrap up an annual strategy session outlining major GTM milestones for the business and then join a design call to determine which shade of purple should be in our new logo, comfortable and capable in both circumstances.
