What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist position at STAT Resources?
STAT Resources is currently seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract position with our client in the Weirton, WV area. Monday-Friday daylight, no on call and no weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology and medical terminology.
- Must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique, along with the knowledge of radiation protection and patient safety.
- CT technologists are primary liaisons between patients, radiologists and other health care members.
- Uses professional and ethical judgment, along with critical thinking in performing their duties
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training at an AMA approved school.
Experience:
- Previous CAT Scan experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
- Current ARRT Licensure (CT) preferred
- Current American Heart Association CPR for HealthCare Provider required
