Job Title: Procurement Coordinator
Department: Procurement
Reports to: Administrator
Directed by: Coordinators, Estimators, Department Managers and President
FLSA Status: Hourly- Non-Exempt
The duties and responsibilities of STAT’s procurement department are essential to the company’s operational support of profitability and productivity. Therefore, the Procurement Coordinator is expected to perform the following.
Essential Functions:
· Purchase supply of products/materials
· Determine the lowest cost for products/materials
· Track and record orders
· Distributes and process the returns of job materials
· Receive orders and document arrivals
· Manage and analyze supply base
· Source and interview vendors; negotiate costs
· Prepare requisitions and purchase orders
· Communicate performances and costs to management
· Recommend new processes or systems for improvement; implement new ideas and strategies
· Organize and schedule procurements in a timely manner
· Assist in Field / Shop Equipment Maintenance disposition
· Operate equipment and follow all safety procedures
· Comply to scorecard measurement system to track values
· Maintain inventory of field supplies & equip., saleable supplies & equip., and surplus materials
· Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals
· Maintain housekeeping of the designated inside/outside of its office, receiving, storage, staging, and distribution areas
· Participates and attends weekly Control Room collaboration meeting and/or as required.
· Must report to work on time with company provided uniform and required PPE.
· Follows and enforces all STAT policies and procedures.
Marginal Functions:
1. May approve invoices for payment.
2. May expedite delivery of goods to end users.
3. Assist in inside sales of equipment & Supplies as directed.
- Assist in asset management as directed
5. May operate company vehicles and equipment.
6. All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Goals:
1. Procure materials expeditiously
2. Deplete surplus stock
3. Efficient distribution and accountability
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct supervisory of an individual role but supervises organization processes to ensure quality.
Working Conditions:
1. Scheduled days cover Monday thru Friday. Monday through Thursday 0700-1630 with a one (1) hour lunch and 0700-1300 on Friday without a lunch. Supervisor must approve any Overtime outside of these ranges. All positions should be at work 5-10 minutes early ready to start work at 0700.
2. Weekends and holidays as required.
3. Works office, warehouse outside conditions depending on job tasks.
4. May be required to perform work at an alternate location other than STAT facility.
Educational and/or Experience Requirements:
1. Must have High School Diploma or GED.
2. Three (3) years’ experience including but not limited to.
· Shipping and Receiving
· Warehouse/yard housekeeping
· Processing requisitions and purchase orders
· Processing orders of materials
· Staging and distribution
· Maintaining inventory
3. Microsoft Operating System and Office Applications, including strong Excel skills
4. QuickBooks
5. Must have valid Driver’s License and be insurable with our Insurance Company to operate motor vehicles
6. Self-motivated and demonstrated personal initiative
7. Highly effective and persuasive communication skills
8. Attention to detail
9. Time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills
10. Adaptability

Preferred Requirements:
1. Demonstrated leadership experience
