Responsibilities
Yvonne M. Kaminski & Associates, insurance staff counsel for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company seeks an attorney with 0-5 years’ experience to handle defense work for major personal lines carrier. Some experience in handling auto and premises work and litigation/arbitration experience is desired but not necessary. Recent Law School Graduates who have passed the Illinois Bar are encouraged to apply. Competitive candidates will be well organized, detail oriented and able to independently manage a caseload where all work is time sensitive. The selected candidate should plan to spend time working both in the office and from home as part of a hybrid work arrangement. Work arrangements could change over time based on business needs. Qualifications
• 0-5 years' experience handling defense work for a major personal lines carrier
• Must have a law degree from ABA accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
• Must have active license to practice law in Illinois and be a member in good standing of the Illinois Bar
• Strong automation/technology skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
• Experience working in a paperless electronic environment
