Bi-Weekly Rate of Pay: $1,386.00 (in accordance with current spending restrictions, the position will be filled at the minimum of the pay grade or up to 5% of the employee's current rate of pay, whichever is higher)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for auditing requests for reimbursement of traveling expenses for employees.
Be proficient in using the Statewide Travel Management System (STMS).
Process payments timely through the appropriate system; Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) or the Statewide Travel Management System (STMS).
Monitor and ensure that travel internal controls are enforced and followed.
Research and resolve payment inquiries from vendors and employees related to travel.
Effectively communicate results to requestors by email as well as by telephone.
Identify recurring issues and conduct training as needed to resolve the issues.
Offer training on proper invoice and supporting documentation submission.
Responsible for processing reimbursements other than travel.
Responsible for daily assembling supporting documentation to travel voucher schedules and other related voucher schedules in Axiom Pro within 2 working days.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications for this Position Include the Following Required Entry Level Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the rules and regulations of the State Comptroller, the State Automated Management Accounting System (SAMAS), and DJJ accounting procedures.
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures relating to accounting program.
Utilize problem solving techniques.
Establish and maintain effective working relationship with others.
Develop, organize, and prepare a variety of accounting schedules into a logical format.
Review data for accuracy and completeness.

If initially hired with an out-of-state license, the Florida resident must obtain a valid Florida state driver’s license within 30 days of hire. Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
