Duties and Responsibilities:
This is professional, complex work assisting with all administrative, programmatic and operational activities within the Division of Elections/Bureau of Voter Registration Services and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties:
Creates credible and reliable case files by comparing and analyzing voter demographic information in FVRS with other approved sources to determine whether potential matches are valid/invalid.
Sorts, opens, stamps, maintains statistics, and distributes voter registration applications and other mail received throughout the bureau.
Performs HSMV verifications by comparing and analyzing voter demographic information in FVRS with other approved sources to determine the validity or invalidity of automated matches between voters and Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles information.
Performs death matches by comparing and analyzing voter demographic information in FVRS with other approved sources to determine the validity or invalidity of automated matches between voters and death information provided.
Interacts with Supervisor of Elections' staff, other agencies, and the general public through the Voter Assistance Hot-line and other communication sources.
Processes cancellations in the order that they are received. Enters data information accurately and completely in the cancellation database, identifies cancellations that have no matching registration in FVRS and mails in-state and out-of-state reports.
Performs other work related duties as required.
