SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
The employee in this position performs independent work providing administrative oversight to enhance accountability and standardize operational processes.
Assists the Regional Director and Assistant Regional Director with operational issues in the region office or circuits that require additional resources to ensure compliance for public safety.
Responds to communications received via telephone, correspondence, or email primarily relating to re-entry and community corrections case management issues.
Coordinate and assist with re-entry efforts throughout the region. Conduct case management reviews and special audits as directed by the Regional Director / Assistant Regional Director.
Conducts specialized case management reviews.
Coordinates and monitors various caseload management, supervision, and program reports for the Circuits within the Region as a service provider to the field for compliance and to detect problem areas needing attention.
Assists the circuits with re-entry efforts and will serve as a liaison for region to the institution re-entry efforts. Reviews and recommends updates to procedures, policies, and administrative rules.
Serves as the Regional ACA Coordinator in collecting necessary documentation and conducting any preparatory reviews or audits to ensure ACA compliance.
Instruct / assist with providing ACA accreditation training. Coordinates, reviews, and ensures accurate collection and entries of documents into the auditor review system for ACA audits.
Continually reviews and updates specific required standards assigned to the region by the Office of Community Corrections ACA Coordinator.
Attends and assists with ACA workgroup or team related events or meetings.
Reviews and provides routine reports on operational issues to support the field as a service provider. Provides specific operation related training to all levels of staff.
Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and formulate reports to support the field as a service provider. Prepare and analyze quality assurance reports that are utilized to monitor compliance with statutes and procedures.
Prepare periodic and special reports as requested. Will have the ability to assist the field as an auxiliary certified probation officer if support is needed from the Region Office in the field.
Supports the region office during emergencies as an essential staff member. Perform other duties as assigned.
