What are the responsibilities and job description for the ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR 4 (JENNINGS) position at State of Louisiana?
The incumbent of this position will perform a wide variety of administrative duties and transactions in support of operations for LDVA State Cemeteries Program.
They will need to have strong computer skills and will be required to enter burial information in the Burial Operations Support System (BOSS) after receiving background security checks from the VA and issuance of a PIV card. The incumbent will be required to provide excellent customer service to other staff, Department personnel, visitors, and families and will represent the cemetery and the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs with professionalism when interacting with all members of the public.
Additionally, the incumbent will provide assistance to and receive direct supervision from the Administrative Program Manager in planning and administering the Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery located in Jennings, LA.
The position will be filled by a probational appointment or promotion of a permanent state employee.
