Job Duties includes:
75% Assists in the development of the modernization systems as well as management of the process and people. Reviews and approves current and long-range work plans. Reviews deliverables from contractors. Meets with subject matter experts (SMEs) for processes and procedures; requirement gathering, and ensuring timelines and approvals are received timely from the SMEs. Assists in the direction of the project team. Attends weekly status meetings with management and contractor staff. Assists in monitoring to ensure proper documentation. Monitors issue and risk mitigation processes. Prepares reports/analysis for supervisor and/or management team regarding project status. Tracks and monitors costs and time spent on project in order to provide data to CMS. Ensures that all requirements are documented and met for CMS approval.

20% Provides direct supervision of contractor resources and functional supervision for project team members by assigning tasks, prioritizing work, setting goals and objectives, and evaluating and approving work product. Provides technical and programmatic guidance as needed. Attends staff meetings with subordinates to address problems and conflicts.

5% Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the project.
