What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper - Miami, FL position at State of Maryland?
PURPOSE OF POSITION: To ensure the residents a very clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive place to live.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Abides by Fair Housing Laws; thoroughly cleaning apartments prior to new residents moving in, including living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens; stripping and waxing hallways; cleaning laundry rooms, offices, maintenance shops, clubhouse, and all common areas; cleans up trash in common areas; vacuums carpets, cleans windows, doors, and furnishings.
OCCASIONAL FUNCTIONS: Delivers notices to residents, performs minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs and venetian blinds, touch-up paint, caulking, and resetting garbage disposals; performs similar tasks at the request of the Community Manager or Supervisor.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Required: None Preferred: Prior housekeeping experience; familiarity with the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment; ability to read the English language
