POSITION DUTIES
The main purpose of this position at Deer's Head Hospital Center is to promptly answer and accurately transfer calls via the attendant console, providing pleasant, courteous communication with patients/residents, co-workers, and the public.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Completion of the Eighth grade.
Experience: None.
Note: Candidates may substitute additional experience performing telephone operator duties on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
Special Requirements
Employees in this classification may be subject to call 24 hours a day and be required to provide the employing agency with a telephone number where they can be reached.
