The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) is seeking tech-savvy candidates for the role of Agency Business Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee the onboarding of new, promoted, and redeployed staff and provide technical support to employees engaging in telework. DTA attracts people passionate about public service, who love to work in a fast-paced environment, and who are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. /_Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):_/ * Manage the onboarding and offboarding of staff and provide technical support for day-to-day operations as well as supporting the implementation of new projects and policy initiatives. * Provide day-to-day assistance to staff including but not limited to: onsite and remote issues with technology, equipment, or other needs. * Function as liaison between the DTA central office, TAO management, HR and Systems IT, to track, trouble shoot and identify trends in technical issues. * Responsible for the onboarding of new staff, as well as processing systems paperwork and support for newly promoted staff for all business units within the Department, including supervisors and managers. * Conduct ongoing evaluation and continuous quality improvement in the efficacy of onboarding and telework. /_Preferred Qualifications:_/ * Knowledge of DTA programs and systems. * Ability to maintain accurate records of staff interactions and exercise discretion in handling confidential information. * Ability to present and discuss technical trends and findings in meetings. * Ability to articulate complex problems in a simplified manner, both orally and in writing. * Ability to work with specialized, diverse populations. * Knowledge of common barriers to low-income populations, including those at risk of homelessness. * Bilingual or multilingual fluency. * Aptitude for learning new systems and technical requirements including Interactive Voice Response systems (IVR) and the DTA web and mobile applications -including design features, client experience and administrative roles. * Knowledge of change management, organizational behavior, and motivational practices. * Skilled in problem-solving, consensus building, conflict resolution and team building. * Ability to manage multiple projects, and develop project plans identifying the Problem, Impact, Resolution and Timeline. * Ability to design and implement data collection and reporting processes. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and establish and maintain effective working relationships. * Ability to mediate conflicts, coordinate competing interests and work under time constraints. _Agency Mission:_ The Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) is the state agency responsible for administering public assistance programs to low-income residents of the Commonwealth.
