Departmental Analyst E 9-P11

This position assists in contract operations for Housing and Homeless Services’ homeless and specialty populations housing programs. This position will assist in preparing contracts for grant-funded programs and monitors the contract signature process.

Departmental Analyst 12

This position is the recognized resource in Housing and Homeless Services overseeing the development and execution of all grants and contracts administered to subrecipients. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate establishment, tracking, approval and closure of more than 100 agreements in EGrAMS and Sigma. This position manages all grant amendment requests over the fiscal year. This position leads the yearly review and submission of all grant requests to the Bureau of Grants and Purchasing (BGP). In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accounting and budget information for these agreements in EGrAMS and is responsible for ongoing coordination with MDHHS Financial Operations. Finally, this position is part of the Housing and Homeless Services Contracts and Funding team consisting of the payment's analyst, financial analyst, and contract analyst who collectively ensure the accurate and timely budgeting, granting, and reimbursement of all state and federal funding awarded to the Section.

Required Education And Experience

Education

Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Experience

Departmental Analyst 9

No specific type or amount is required.

Departmental Analyst 10

One year of professional experience.

Departmental Analyst P11

Two years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate (10) level in state service.

Departmental Analyst 12

Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.

Alternate Education And Experience

Departmental Analyst 9 - 12

Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.

Position Location/Remote Office: The physical location of this position is Lansing (Grand Tower, 235 S. Grand Ave., Lansing MI). Based on operational needs and within established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered.

Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work within Michigan. Candidates should confirm work location and schedule at the time of interview.
