Job Summary
The Director of Statewide Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) will provide statewide leadership, coordination, strategic direction, guidance and management oversight of the state's enterprise accounting, budget, human resources, procurement, and reporting applications.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
At least 5 years’ professional experience in project management and/or implementing systems related projects.
Equivalency Provision: Professional certification in project management such as a Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent is desired and can substitute for one year of required experience.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent relationship management
Proven ability to:
Manage a variety of projects, in various stages, that involve multiple stakeholders
Manage and motivate people
Work independently and creatively, learn quickly, and solve complex problems in high-pressure situations
Working knowledge of:
IT project management tools and methodologies, including project charters, resource planning, work breakdown structures, risk analysis, budgeting, etc.
Technology and information systems planning to support business goals and strategy
Software development life cycles and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification (Project Management Professional)
Experience with the state of Minnesota's accounting, budget, human resources, procurement, and reporting applications
Continuous improvement principles, practices, philosophies, theories, and tools
Additional Requirements
