Annual Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000

What you will do:
- Assist MCHR’s Executive Director in the overall administration and development of the agency and serves in the Executive Director’s absence
- Lead MCHR’s investigative operations statewide
- Assist in program development, strategic and budget planning
- Act as liaison with the Missouri Attorney General's Office, the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations’ Office of General Counsel, and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
- Attend confirmation hearings for nominations of MCHR Commissioners
- Assist with personnel matters to ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of MCHR staff
- Provide guidance to the investigations staff regarding case processing and procedures
- Develop and provide initial training, education, outreach, and onboarding to MCHR's commissioners, investigators, to other State agencies and the general public
- Provide input and guidance on legislative changes to Chapter 213, RSMo
- Make jurisdictional determinations and write up cases initially processed by EEOC
- Manage MCHR’s work-sharing agreement with EEOC,
- Monitor MCHR’s EEOC contract performance
All you need for success:
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, legal studies, human resources, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or similar field AND
- Three years of managerial experience
Desired Attributes
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with anti-discrimination laws
- Knowledge and experience in human rights matters
- At least five years managerial experience
- Technological proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; Adobe; Filevine; Tableau; and EEOC’s ARC case management system
- Familiarity with using data analytics to drive organizational decisions
- Self-motivation, critical thinking, and ability to both lead and work within a team
