HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

The License Offices Bureau is seeking a creative, energetic team member focused on positive transformation. The Administrative Manager will be part of a team working hand in hand with approximately 173 contracted license offices that assist Missourians in the issuance of titles, registrations and driver and non-driver licenses. This highly organized, attentive to detail professional will oversee a team who is responsible for overseeing the compliance of contract requirements including lead resolution to concerns regarding license offices; reconcile license office accounting documentation; maintain policies, procedures, work plans, and checklists for license offices and the Bureau; and serve as a liaison with vendors to produce office inventory.

DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to seven team members to ensure all license office contract components are maintained satisfactorily.
  • Ensure appropriate resolution to issues identified by the stakeholders regarding license office operations.
  • Manage license office errors and communications to license offices to reduce errors.
  • Manage the review of financial information including the assessment of liquidated damages, crime bond premiums and long and short statements.
  • Maintain the license office inventory accountability function.
  • Recommend updates/revisions to bureau and license office policy and procedures.
  • Prepare reports and documents for management.
  • Plan, evaluate and improve the efficiency of processes, protocols and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • 2-4 years of supervisory or team building experience
