The Department of Social Services - Children's Division is seeking to fill the position of Miscellaneous Technical. This is an hourly position with flexible hours.

The Department of Social Services Children’s Division is seeking an intern based in the Kirksville office. An intern is a student worker who is currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or academic program. An internship provides a structured hands-on learning experience in a student’s chosen field of study. An internship will offer participants early work experience, skill development, and an opportunity to build professional networks.


What you’ll do:


  • Assist with office filing
  • Assist with general data entry
  • Assist Social Services Specialists with transporting of children (as needed)

All you need for success:

Desired Skills:

  • Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Must be able to type accurately (prefer 30 words per minute)
  • Possess the ability to learn the unique computer software necessary for the job

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a High School Diploma or GED certificate
