• The office for this position is located at the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, MO. 65101.
• Candidates who complete a successful onboarding and training period may be eligible to work at an alternate location in compliance with OA-ITSD's Distributed Workforce Plan.

You will work with business owners and vendors in a team environment to solve problems, perform maintenance, and create new .NET applications for the Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR). These applications are critical to the issuance of driver’s licenses and titles for Missouri citizens.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications while adhering to DOR development standards.
• Create and run test cases against your code.
• Provide technical application support for our business users.
• Learn and develop new skills through various training opportunities.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Experience with C# and VB.NET. Experience with the MVC framework.
• JavaScript.
• JQuery, and HTML.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• LINQ knowledge preferred Ability to communicate effectively with the team and business users.
• The desire to learn and grow.
• Associate degree, and 0-2 years of relevant experience for an Associate Applications Developer, or Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of information technology experience with emphasis in applications development and support for an Applications Developer. (Substitutions may be allowed).
