Program Administrator - OOC Subsidy

Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

This position will assist in the coordination and management of the operations and fiscal oversight for the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) in the role of the state administrator for Missouri.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate key day-to-day management of staff, projects, and activities in the Office of Childhood.
• Assist with development and implementation of federal and state regulations, including the CCDF state plan, annual performance reports, and quarterly financial reports; and state budgets, policies, and program evaluation related to the child care subsidy program.
• Inform the Assistant Commissioner in the implementation of subsidy policies and monitoring the effectiveness of such policies.
• Oversee fiscal monitoring and accountability for the child care subsidy program.
• Develop annual CCDF spend plan activities in accordance with federal and state regulations and statutes.
• Monitor child care subsidy program data, trend analysis, and expenditure history to project upcoming program funding needs.
• Review and interpret fiscal statutes and regulations (federal and state) regarding CCDF. Apply a working knowledge of these laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accountability at the state and recipient level.
• Project, track and maintain the state-level maintenance of effort and matching requirements for CCDF.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, finance, education, social/human services, or other related field.
• Three or more years of experience in the coordination, supervision, and administration of a program, or other leadership experience in state government or public settings that directly contributes to the understanding of activities in this position.
