This is a highly responsible position in which the individual will assist in the development of technical and educational content for microbusiness applicants and licensees within the Office of Business Opportunity in the Division of Cannabis Regulation. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem solving skills, strong attention to detail and possess the ability to work closely and collaboratively with other team members.

What you’ll do:

• Assist in the development of public education programming detailing the licensing process and information regarding available support and resources to individuals interested in applying for microbusiness licensure.
• Assist in the development of written and consistent guidance documents for microbusiness applicants and licensees.
• Establish targeted technical assistance programming to communities impacted by cannabis prohibition.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual report to the legislature of compliance activities.
• Perform day-to-day program activities and other routine duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience. (substitutions may be allowed.)
• Possesses a positive attitude and strong critical thinking skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work in an evolving team dynamic.
• High level of commitment, exceptional customer service skills and commitment to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience in public communication.
