Full-time: 40 hours
Starting Salary: $56,262-$58,654.00, depending on qualifications

We are recruiting to fill a Projects Principal Management Analyst I/II position to perform senior-level professional work in the management of all aspects of projects that may have a major impact on the operations and services of the judiciary. Responsible for leading a project team through the entire project life cycle. Incumbents have substantial knowledge of the processes and procedures of OSCA and the judiciary.
This position may be filled one of two ways, depending on qualifications:
Projects Principal Management Analyst I ($56,262)-Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management; and three years of professional experience in a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or its equivalent. The candidate may be hired with the conditional agreement to obtain the PMP certification within one year of employment.
Projects Principal Management Analyst II ($58,654)- Projects Principal Management Analyst I ($56,262)-Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or court management; and four years of professional experience in a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or its equivalent. The candidate may be hired with the conditional agreement to obtain the PMP certification within one year of employment.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Completes project management activities for all phases of a project, which includes project definition, planning, implementation and close-out.
- Independently manages a highly specialized complex program or project, with little to no direction. The complexity is reflected in a need for more sophisticated analytical methods and problem-solving techniques.
- Develops and maintains detailed project plans including work tasks, required resources, achievable timetables and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinates with other division staff to ensure that for project phases and timetables that resources are allocated and available when and where needed to accomplish the goals of implementation.
Desired skills and knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of project management theories and methodologies.
- Knowledge of project management tools such as MS Project and Confluence.
- Thorough knowledge of the operation of local and state court systems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with project team members, judicial and court personnel and the public.
- Ability to facilitate discussions that lead to resolution of project issues.
- Thorough knowledge of the relationship between hardware, software and user interface.
